Artist's Comments
Ok, this took AGES. There's quite an interesting story behind this one. I planned to draw a picture for Lugia in between commissions, and so I sketched a few things out last week (including this piece) but none of them were satisfactory.. I must have scrapped about 10 of them before I finally came up with something. I scanned it and was ready to colour.
Few hours later.. I looked at it and thought "It's just not right.." so scrapped that too. Yesterday morning I looked back at my sketch book and noticed this one wasn't so bad after so I scanned it and here is the result!!! Lets see then.. 21 layers in total and about 6-7 hours work I'd say. |
