I haven't painted anything since 4 years ago, this was the first one after taking art for my GCSEs. Gift for because she sent me a seagull for my seagull collection! And she tells me she wants to send another.. which is crazy X_X and I wish I could send stuff back.... painting Moltres just came to mind! I was originally going to try for painting a seashore.. or something!
Anyway, about 3 hours work on this thick, rough grained watercolour paper.. acrylics, new paintset etc. Yeh I need to work on my skills! It was tough but relaxing to do this. I can honestly say I painted from my heart, instead of "trying" to do something, it just happened.

Heh. I don't know what to become of the seagull if not. It was going to the trash anyway, so I figured you could have it since it was in pretty good shape and all. O_o''

Moltres has never looked so good! I love the pose and the colours are so warm, and I like the sharpness of the eye! Spectacular work! :D
